The Outstanding Junior Contest honors young women between ages 18 through 35 who have truly promoted the aims and purposes of the National Society, as well as participated in community activities. The contest encourages all Junior members to be vitally interested and involved in DAR programs and projects. This beautiful pin recognizes outstanding service by a Junior member who has been certified as the State Outstanding Junior Runner-Up. The approval of the state regent is required to purchase this pin.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
This gold-filled pin measures 1 1/4" x 3/8".
