Discount codes do not apply to shipping charges or gift certificates.  Only one discount code can be applied to per order.  


The DAR Online Store and DAR Museum Shop ship to the United States and select U.S. Territories. Shipping rates are based on the total price of the merchandise in your order, excluding any applicable sales tax. Orders shipped to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and U.S. territories can only be shipped via Standard Shipping.

Standard Shipping arrives in approximately 7-10 business days (depending on your location) for addresses in the United States. Orders shipping elsewhere may experience longer shipping times.

The DAR Online store supports shipping to international destinations.  International shipping rates consists of standard shipping rates + a flat fee of $40 for each shipment.

To Send DAR Online Store and DAR Museum Shop Merchandise to an APO or FPO Address:

Enter either "APO" or "FPO" in the City field and select the appropriate Armed Forces Region from the drop down menu in the State field.

Enter "CMR 548, Box 12345" in the Address field, "APO" in the City field, select "Armed Forces Europe" in the State field, and enter "09520" in Zip/Postal Code field.

To Send DAR Online Store and DAR Museum Shop Merchandise to a U.S. Territory:

When completing the shipping address, select the U.S. territory name in the State/Province field, and select "United States" in the Country/Region field.
The DAR Online Store ships to the following U.S. territories: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana


The NSDAR is required to collect applicable sales tax for orders shipped from the District of Columbia.


The NSDAR accepts MasterCard and Visa. GIFT Certificates DAR gift certificates are sent electronically and can be redeemed online. * Gift certificates are fully transferable, but not replaceable and are not redeemable for cash. * Gift certificates are not subject to shipping and handling or sales tax when purchased. However, merchandise purchased using a gift card is subject to shipping and handling and applicable sales tax.


The NSDAR will accept unused/undamaged merchandise for return or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Returns must be in new, and in the condition you received them.

Please note that we will refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error or a defective item. If you need to contact us, please email us at customerservice@dar.org or call us at (888) 673-2732. Our regular store business hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4 PM (Eastern Time).


Items damaged during shipment or mailing must be reported to the DAR Store immediately upon receipt and returned to the store. The item/s must be returned to the DAR Store within 30 days of receipt in order to receive a replacement, full refund or store credit slip. After 30 days the item/s in question will not qualify for a replacement, full refund or store credit slip.


Customers must notify the DAR Store within 60 days of shipment regarding items that were never received or considered lost in the mail and a replacement, full refund or store credit slip will be issued. After 60 days the item/s in question will not qualify for a replacement, full refund or store credit slip.


  • Credit slips expire one year from the date of issue.
  • All refunds will be in the form of the original payment used.
  • Customers should allow up to 4 weeks for a replacement, full refund or store credit slip to be awarded after an item has been returned or reported lost/not received.


The DAR Shopping site uses 128-bit encryption and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security features to prevent your personal information from being read as it passes over the Internet. SSL scrambles your personal information so that only your web browser and our Web site's server can decipher it.

If you set up a personal account with the DAR Shopping site, your online password adds another layer of security to your personal information; in addition, the site does not store credit card information.

These measures make it very unlikely that your credit card information will be compromised online. However, in the event of an unauthorized use of your credit card, notify your credit card provider or issuing bank in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your responsibility for fraudulent charges is limited to $50.00.
