The beautiful Serving the Nation pin may only be worn by DAR members who are serving or have served in the United States Armed Services. Proof of military service, such as a Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (i.e. DD-214) from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force, Coast Guard, or National Guard must be submitted to the Office of the Organizing Secretary General prior to ordering. Approval is required to purchase this pin.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
