Associate membership in a chapter is a wonderful way of connecting with Daughters throughout the country and the world. Active associate membership in a chapter other than the member's home chapter is required to purchase the Associate Member Pin. Note: A member may hold no more than two associate memberships within her home state at the same time. She may hold more associate memberships outside her home state. Approval is required for purchase.

This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
The Associate Member Standard Bar may be purchased separately and will be engraved with the associate chapter’s name. The word "chapter" is not included on the bar.
