Connecticut DAR owns and maintains four historic properties located throughout the state: the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead, the Governor Jonathan Trumbull House, the Wadsworth Stable, and the Washington Oak Tree Park. Each has an important place in the history of the American Revolution, our state, and our organization. There is also the non-historic Matthies Hall, a meeting hall owned and maintained by CTDAR.
In order to purchase a pin, a member must meet the following requirements: served as a house chair for 2 years, served as a docent or volunteer for 8 hours, served as a board member for 2 years or served as an ex-officio officer or treasurer for 2 years. The State Regent will review and approve each pin purchase request based on the criterion provided above.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
