The objective of the National Auditing Committee is to evaluate and to obtain reasonable assurance that the financial statements present fairly the financial position of NSDAR in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Such assurance is important to receive a clean opinion from an independent auditing firm. The committee also reviews accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
