The Gold ROTC Medal Set is awarded to a college or university graduate being commissioned in one of the U.S. Armed Services (one medal per ROTC unit per service). Medals are worn according to ROTC protocol.
This award is a 1.25" gold-toned medal of the DAR Insignia, on a red, white, and blue ribbon and accompanying ribbon bar. An 8.5" x 11" cream-colored certificate signed by the current administration is included which must be presented with the medal.
