The DAR Museum Outreach Committee supports the National Society’s goals of preservation, education, and patriotism by collecting, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting the material culture and social history of pre-industrial America. DAR Museum Docents provide a valuable link between our visitors and the collection by providing guided tours of the museum.

This enamel bar, denoting 300 hours of service as a certified DAR Museum Docent, may be purchased and attached to the DAR Museum Docent pin and worn proudly by the qualifying member. Approval is required to purchase.

This gold-filled enamel bar measures 7/8" X 3/10".

After reaching 1500 hours, DAR Museum Docents may purchase a bar for 1,500 hours of service.
