DAR Museum Correspondent Docents are members who volunteer to promote the DAR Museum and its collections by providing public outreach through programs to DAR chapters, community organizations, and schools in an educated and professional manner.

Members qualify to purchase and wear this pin by presenting 10 programs on the DAR Museum. Approval is required to purchase this pin.  Details about DAR Museum Correspondent Docents are found on the DAR Museum Outreach Committee webpage.

A standard bar may be added to this pin engraved with the number of programs presented.

A standard curved bar may be added to this pin engraved with State or Division Outstanding Correspondent Docent.

A white enamel five-star bar may be added for memvers receiving recognition as a NAtional Outstanding Correspondent Docent.

Approval required for this pin and any associated bars.

This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
