DAR Museum Docents provide a valuable link between visitors and the DAR Museum collection. This bar requires 1,500 hours of service as a Museum Docent at the DAR Museum in Washington, D.C. This bar is hung from the Museum Docent Pin (all Museum Docent bars may be hung from the same pin). Approval is required for purchase.
The DAR Museum Outreach Committee supports the National Society’s goals of preservation, education, and patriotism by collecting, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting the material culture and social history of pre-industrial America. DAR Museum Docents provide a valuable link between our visitors and the collection by providing guided tours of the museum.
1,500 hours of service as a DAR Museum Docent qualifies a member to purchase and wear this enamel bar on the DAR Museum Docent pin. Approval is required to purchase.
This gold-filled enamel bar measures 7/8" X 3/10".
Before reaching 1500 hours, DAR Museum Docents may purchase a bar for each 300 hours of service.
