To earn a Certifier bar as a member of the DAR Genealogy Preservation Committee, members must complete at least 250 hours of volunteer service. Proof of current and past service will be verified by the national chair. A certifier bar will be designated with a star in the middle and attached to the DAR Genealogy Preservation pin.
