The purpose of the Genealogical Records Committee is to collect, preserve, and increase the holdings of unpublished genealogical source materials in the DAR Library and to make those same records available world-wide through an online every-name index.
This pin requires service as the State Chair or Co-Chair of the Genealogical Records Committee. Approval is required for purchase.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
