To purchase and wear the Chapter Parliamentarian pin, the current Chapter Regent must verify the member has served or is currently serving as the chapter parliamentarian and either:
- The DAR Leadership Training Committee must verify that the member parliamentarian has viewed the parliamentary procedure training available from the committee and passed an exam by 80%, or
- Be a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP), or a credentialed member of NAP or the American Institute of Parliamentarians (AIP).
Only the name of the chapter may be engraved on the pin.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
This gold-filled pin measures 1 1/4" x 1/2".
