This pin supports the efforts of the NSDAR American Indians Committee in the continuing education of the history and culture of the American Indian community as well as supports the educational and cultural pursuits of its citizens.
The colors of the stones (black, red, clear and gold) represent the four directions, four seasons and sacred path of both the sun and human beings. The intricately woven center design with a single clear gemstone detailed inside the pin resembles that of a dream catcher, emblematic symbol of Native Americans.
This right-side-only pin measures 1.5 inches in diameter. It may not be placed on the official ribbon.
