Each President General selects a unique and deserving project for her administration and our members are encouraged to support the project through donations and the purchase of specially designed merchandise. At Continental Congress, the President General's Sales Committee is available to assist members in their support of the President General's Project.
There are two ways to earn a pin for serving as part of this Committee.
- For members who are invited to serve at Continental Congress, eight hours of service in a one-year period at Continental Congress makes one eligible to purchase and wear the President General’s Project Sales pin. A blue enamel bar with the name of the President General served may be attached and worn with the President General’s Project Sales pin.
- For those who have served by selling President General products for the Committee at a state event (not at Continental Congress), such service makes one eligible to purchase and wear the President General’s Project Sales pin. A blue enamel bar may not be affixed for a state only event.
In all cases, approval is required to purchase the pin and/or bar by either the national chair or respective state regent.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
This gold-filled pin measures 1" x 1".
