The NSDAR Long Range Planning Commission was authorized by Continental Congress in 1987 as a special committee. The Commission regularly evaluates the future needs of the Society and recommends measures and strategies to enhance the National Society’s operations and longevity.
A member is eligible to purchase and wear the Long Range Planning Commission Pin after serving a minimum of three years as a member of the National Long Range Planning Commission. State-level service does not qualify for this pin. Approval is required.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
This gold-filled pin measures 1" wide by 3/4" tall.
