The Lady Washington Chapter, organized in 1899 as the first in Houston and fifth in Texas, honors the legacy of Martha “Lady” Washington. Inspired by the elegance of an antique portrait frame in her home at Mount Vernon, this design features a center monogram surrounded by a graceful bow of friendship. Created in celebration of the chapter’s 125th anniversary, this pin is to be worn on the official ribbon.

Eligibility to purchase and wear is reserved for current or past membership or current Associate membership in the Lady Washington Chapter.

This pin may only be worn by Lady Washington Daughters and Associate Members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.

This oval pin measures 1 inch wide by 1 1/4 inch tall.
