The House Committee provides services to assist members attending Continental Congress. The committee makes provisions for general information, admittance to Constitution Hall, sales of literature and special items, lost and found items, and a cloak room. Eligibility for this beautiful House Committee Pin requires three years of service for a majority of sessions each year in an assigned area. Approval is required for purchase.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
This gold-filled pin measures 1" x 1".
The Standard Bar may be engraved with one of the following: Subcommittee Chair, Subcommittee Vice Chair, Development, 18th Street Doors, C Street Doors, D Street Doors, Lost and Found, Tiers A-D, Tiers E-J, Tiers K-M, Tiers N-R, and Tiers S-V. A majority of sessions must be served in a year.
Approval is also required for the purchase of the engraved bar.
