Doors Committee, Continental Congress

The Doors Committee is responsible for manning the three main exterior doors of Constitution Hall (D-Street, C-Street, 18th Street) during the Business and Evening Sessions during Continental Congress. The committee checks the credentials of all being admitted, ensuring they are properly registered to attend Continental Congress. The committee provides general information, directions and assists in maintaining orderly Congress sessions. The work of this committee is directed by a Chair, Section Chairs, Vice Chairs and committee members.

Eligibility for the beautiful Doors Committee Pin requires four sessions service (each session is four hours) during one Continental Congress. Approval is required for purchase.

This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
