The DAR Good Citizens program is a brilliant way to recognize outstanding young people who exhibit the qualities of good citizenship in their homes, schools, and communities!
The DAR Good Citizens program and Scholarship Contest is intended to encourage and reward the sparkling qualities of good citizenship in our students. The program is open to all high school seniors enrolled in public or private schools accredited and in good standing with their state board of education. Students are not required to be United States citizens.
Chapters should contact local high schools as soon as possible at the beginning of the school year and encourage their participation. The DAR Good Citizens pin and certificate set may be purchased by chapters directly -- no need to contact your state chair.
GREAT NEWS! For your convenience, the VIS committee created a fillable template for this certificate. Click HERE to be taken to the link! Be sure to read the instructions carefully!
The document jackets are available and sold separately.
