Effective July 1, 2016, the Genealogy Consultant designation was discontinued. Only members who attended the four-day Genealogy Consultant seminar conducted by the Office of the Registrar General in Washington, DC, and completed the 3 course online class before July 1, 2016 are eligible to purchase this pin and approval is required.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
The gold-filled pin measures 1 1/4" x 3/4".
