The DAR Chapter Flag comes in 2 different sizes; 3’x’5ft and a 4’x6’ft. It also comes in 2 different styles;
Parade style - mainly for indoor use with very minimum and limited outdoor use, perfect for carrying in a parade, but not designed for use in inclement weather. Designed with a sleeve for ease of hanging from a pole.
Outdoor style - solely for outdoor use only in all weather conditions. Designed with metal gromets attached for ease in attaching to and raising up a flagpole.
You can have your chapter name added to the flag which comes in a dyed lettering. Flags ordered no chapter name requested will have the standard printing of "National Society" printed on the flag.
This is a flag and not a banner. To use this flag as a traditional banner, you would have to have one side of the flag, or the top and bottom modified to support attachment to a pole or whatever device you choose to carry it with. We currently do not offer banners, only a flag.
Flags are made of a 200 denier Nyl-glo material. All flags are of single/reverse construction with an Anco dyed digital design for the coloring.
