The Washington-Lewis Chapter, located in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, was chartered in 1922 to save Historic Kenmore, the home of George Washington’s only sister, Betty, and her husband, Col. Fielding Lewis. This elegant circular design features a finely detailed central image of Kenmore beneath a dogwood blossom, Virginia’s state flower. Created to celebrate the chapter’s 100th anniversary, this pin is to be worn on the official ribbon.

Eligibility to purchase and wear is reserved for current or past membership or current Associate membership in the Washington-Lewis Chapter.

This pin may only be worn by Washington-Lewis Daughters and Associate Members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.

This perfectly circular pin measures 1" in diameter.
