DAR Member Training courses provide an opportunity for members to learn more about DAR and how to become active and engaged participants in DAR at all levels — chapter, state, and national. The courses have been designed to fit into anyone’s busy schedule of work, family, and play, through mostly online self-directed learning.
The Member Training pin features a book representing the DAR knowledge contained in the Member Training Courses. Graduates of DAR Member Training Courses and State Coordinators are eligible to purchase this pin and the corresponding bars. Approval is required to purchase this pin.
This pin may only be worn by DAR members on the official Insignia ribbon according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
This 14K gold pin measures 13/16" x 1".
At least one bar must be purchased to indicate the completion. Links to the 14K leadership bars: Members, New Horizons, and Committee Leaders courses. There is also a State Coordinator bar available. Approval required.
