The District of Columbia and her Daughters have proudly served DAR and our nation for over a century. If you are a member of a District of Columbia chapter of DAR, you may purchase this colorful District of Columbia Centennial Pin to wear; however, all state centennial pins are limited to quantities currently in stock, and they will not be reordered when sold-out. Approval is required for purchase.
When this Commemorative Centennial pin is worn by a District of Columbia Daughter on the official Insignia ribbon, it must be placed according to the most current "Placement of DAR Insignia and Pins on Official Ribbon" document found on the Insignia Committee webpage.
When not worn on the official ribbon, District of Columbia Daughters may wear the District of Columbia Commemorative Centennial pin as a brooch, not on a right-side ribbon.
